The Xbox 360 exclusive RPG may launch within the next three months

Bioware's Mass Effect, or "Jack Bauer in space" as they like to call it, is known to be in its last segment of development. The game should release any time this year but the developing company is silent on this aspect. However, there is serious reason to believe that "Jack Bauer in space" is due before mid July. Why , you ask? Well, according to Bioware's Ray Muzyka, their Xbox 360 exclusive isn't going to have any E3 presentation of any sort.

Your guess is as good as mine why Muzyka decided to make such a radical statement, but many say this seriously indicates that the game won't 'need' an E3 presentation, as it will release earlier than mid July (the exact date of the E3 presentation). Now, I'm not saying that whoever came up with this theory is wrong, nor that he/she should be given a medal, but as anyone who has the smallest clue of what happens at E3 will tell you, it is the best opportunity to make people fall in love with a game.

BioWare may try to give the impression that their game is so good, that it doesn't need any boost to make waves when it's released, but it's probably not what it is. There is also the possibility of some bad news coming from BioWare soon and that would be that the game isn't as finished as everybody thought it was. Anyway, no official statements have been made regarding why Mass Effect isn't going to be "on stage" at E3 2007 in California, but all hopes are for the 360 exclusive launching before E3 2007 even starts.
