Marware Game Grip for iPhone 3G and second-gen iPod touch

Marware, maker of a wide range of iPod and iPhone cases, has recently released the Marware Game Grip. The silicone-crafted case-and-handles offer can potentially turn your iPhone 3G / iPod touch 2G into an overall better gaming device.

“The Marware Game Grip offers a remarkably comfortable handheld game controller, as well as two high-grade silicone skins that make great stand-alone carrying solutions for your iPhone 3G and second-generation iPod touch,” Marware says. “Silicone handle-grips on the controller provide comfort for longer gaming sessions, and a unique cord management solution allows you to use your headphones and charging cable while you play,” the company reveals.

Best of all, the Marware Game Grip comes with an optional removable battery pack that slides onto the back of the case to extend gaming sessions. The battery pack is sold separately. You can also charge your device as you play. The company lists the following features as available immediately with the Game Grip case:

- Radically comfortable iPhone/iPod touch gaming;
- Two stand-alone silicone skins that fit iPhone 3G or iPod touch;
- Unique cord management system for use with headphones and charging cable;
- Charging while playing;
- Colorful interchangeable silicone hand grips.
