14 DAY TRIAL // Singer Mariah Carey celebrated her birthday with her husband – and doing something with the unborn twins as well. The singer had a two-tone butterfly painted on her bump and she posted the photo of it on Twitter afterwards.
In recent days, Mariah has become increasingly vocal with her fans / “Lambs” on Twitter, keeping them up to date with everything going on in her life, including her first pregnancy with twins.
After an emergency trip to the hospital that turned out to be a false alarm, the singer was back at home, celebrating her birthday in style.
As the photo she tweeted, which you can also see attached to this article, will confirm, she had a two-tone butterfly painted on her bump, with the words “Dem Babies” above it.
The butterfly, Mariah’s favorite, was red and blue, which more than makes sense since she’s having a boy and a girl, as she and hubby Nick Cannon confirmed a while back.
“My attempt @ festiveness on 327! For ATLITL thank u + I♥U! Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)” Mariah tweeted.
In other words, this was her thank-you to fans for being so loving and supportive of her throughout the pregnancy.
As we also informed you yesterday, right on her birthday, Mariah came this close to giving birth, as she started having contractions and had to be taken to the hospital since she believed the twins were on the way.
“So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital,” she wrote on Twitter when she was back home again.
She was seen by a doctor and was sent home.
“They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ) #soreadyallready!” the singer added.
As of now, Mariah and Nick have not revealed the names of the babies. Expect this to happen in the magazine interview and / or photospread that will “introduce” them to the world.
