14 DAY TRIAL // Season 12 of the popular televised singing competition American Idol has just wrapped, naming Candice Glover as winner. The finale also included several huge performers, including Mariah Carey.
Jennifer Lopez closed the show with a Las Vegas worthy number, complete with gorgeous dancers, confetti, and fireworks.
By comparison (not that any is necessary to appreciate both as they’re due), Mariah’s performance was simpler – but also more divalicious.
Decked in a gorgeous mermaid dress with crystals and feathers, with a diva fan making sure her inner diva-ness could come out, and a voice to match a diva of her status, Mariah belted out a medley of some of her most popular songs.
She rounded it up with a sample from her latest single, “#Beautiful.”
