MacIT conference returns

Macworld reports that IDG World Expo on Tuesday announced the schedule for the MacIT Conference at Macworld Conference & Expo. The MacIT Conference returns to San Francisco's Moscone Center on 8-12 January, 2007.

The MacIT Conference will take place during 3 days and will provide in-depth training in client and network management techniques, Peter Cohen from MacWorld reports. IDG World Expo also announced that the CEO of ITIntruction.com, Schoun Regan, has been appointed as Conference Chair for the event.

45 different sessions will be featured by the MacIT conference track. These sessions have been broken into five topics. These topics include System Imaging & Deployment; Mac OS X in the Enterprise Arena, Service Solutions Using Mac OS X Server; Mac OS X Management and Administration, and Securing Mac OS X.

"The Mac IT kick-off Forum" will be one of the highlights of the MacIT conference schedule and will feature names like Regan, Josh Wisenbaker, Philip Rinehart and others. Amit Singh and its "Taming Mac OS X File Systems" session will also be present along with Regan and Nigel Kersten's "Managing Directory Services on Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server" and Kersten with the "Optimizing Mac OS X Server File Services". Also, some might be interested to know that Apple product managers Doug Brooks and Eric Zelenka will be presenting "Xserve and Leopard Server".
