The PlayStation 3, in order to help those customers that have recently bought a console, has its Greatest Hits specialty lineup, and has just revealed that seven new games will be joining it, and will be lower priced.

"We have some exciting news for those of you looking to expand your PS3 game library," revealed Sony on the official PlayStation Blog. "Back in April we announced new PS3 Greatest Hits titles, and today we are adding seven more PS3 titles to the ever-growing “Greatest Hits” library."

"These latest titles will be available at retailers in U.S. and Canada for only $29.99 (MSRP). With our ongoing expansion of the “Greatest Hits” library, now including more than 40 titles, we’re continuing to give PS3 owners more to enjoy while spending less."

The titles that have just joined the Greatest Hits lineup are MAG, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Demon's Souls, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War and Tekken 6.

MAG is an online first person shooter with impressive multiplayer capabilities, supporting up to 256 players on the same map, and will also support the PlayStation Move technology via a future update.

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is the latest addition in the Future adventures of the two characters, and concludes this special storyline.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift takes all of the best features of the original MotorStorm racing game and adds a more high quality finish, and new multiplayer modes.

Demon's Souls is one of the toughest role playing games to appear last year, offering gamers an extremely hardcore experience to test their skills.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the title that kick started Activision's Call of Duty franchise, while World at War banks on the success of the previous title.

Last but not least, Tekken 6 is the first next generation title in the popular fighting game series from Namco Bandai, and offers new types of combat.
