Quite a lot of changes

Among all the holiday titles this year, one particular game really stands out from the entire bunch of shooters or Role Playing Games, LittleBigPlanet. Media Molecule's puzzle platformer has promised to deliver gamers a completely innovative experience, in which they can create their own levels, using the tools that the game places at their fingertips.

Through the use of their SackBoy or Girl, players can easily manipulate almost anything surrounding them, which gives them complete freedom on how they want to interact with the environment. But, although this game is very innovative, it hasn't really registered quite a lot of sales, despite the fact that Sony, its publisher, has promoted it quite heavily.

But all hope is not lost, as a company executive has recently declared that the value of the game increases over time, as more and more DLC (Downloadable Content) and levels are added to its portfolio. Also, as another way to attract users, more and more features are added to the game, as the recent 1.06 and 1.07 updates have done. Released a few days ago, just a few hours away, these updates bring quite a lot of new features, which will enrich the whole LBP experience.

First of all, the 1.06 patch resolves a big user complaint, surrounding the level moderation policy. Now, if a level is deemed offensive by a moderator, instead of being deleted, and, as such, the work of the user completely lost, it will now become unpublished, and a list of reasons for it will be delivered to the user, so that he knows what to change in order for his level to get approved.

The 1.07 update delivers a feature that was very demanded by users, the LittleBigStore, which is an in-game store where you can acquire the DLC that has been launched for the game. Also, as a bonus, a new search feature has been added, so that players can now search through the many user-created levels and choose what to play.

These new updates deliver quite a lot of features, and are sure to make LBP players very happy, especially because they have time to spend with their favorite game this holiday period. Don't forget to download the Christmas DLC pack, which is free, as we reported earlier.
