Remember the day when people were making so much fuss about how Adam Lambert is like a modern version of the late and legendary Freddie Mercury? I never understood the need for such comparisons but, you will see, they weren’t exactly gratuitous.

The track below is mashup of Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” and Adam Lambert’s more recent “Trespassing,” the leading single off the album with the same name.

Called “Trespassing (Benny Benassi Mix – DJ DigiMark's Dusty Mixmash),” the track initially came with a video that is perfect in every single way: not only did it show the energy of these two performers, but it also highlighted certain similarities in moves and public appeal.

Sadly, it is no longer available.

In other words, there’s no reason to find offense in the comparison between Freddie and Adam because it’s not meant to make either look less of an artist by it.

If anything, they are two performers who have in common a passion for music and incredible talent, at the very least.

Enjoy!
