Over the weekend, Lindsay Lohan's luck ran out again as she crashed a rental Porsche into an 18-wheeler. Initial reports rule out drug and alcohol use as the cause, but Lindsay may still be in a world of trouble if what the truck driver claims is accurate.

TMZ got a hold of the man driving the 18-wheeler and he makes a series of very startling allegations, from how she might have been carrying drugs at the time of the crash to how her people tried to bribe him into not calling the police.

As we also noted over the weekend, Lindsay told investigators that the semi-truck cut her off, which is why she slammed hard in its rear end.

Now she's also saying that her brakes failed her, word online has it.

The truth might be far from that, if we're to believe the other driver involved in the crash: he's saying Lindsay was “flying” on the highway, with no consideration for the other drivers on the other lanes.

She smashed into him while trying to swerve from a different lane. To make matters even worse, she also tried to flee the scene and, apparently, to bribe the truck driver into not calling 911.

As it happens, he'd already done that. In fact, he says, all his allegations can be verified by simply listening to the 911 call because Lohan's people tried to bribe him as he was on the phone with the police.

The driver also claims that, right after the crash, Lindsay and her personal assistant got out of the wrecked Porsche and into an Escalade that had been trailing them.

The PA then rushed back to the Porsche, took out a pink bag, loaded it with “stuff” from the car, then dumped it into the Escalade and covered it with clothes.

“Him and the guy took me across the street and told me this was some kind of famous person and they didn’t want to be in the media,” the truck driver says.

“But I’d already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene. But they packed a bag and then the limousine driver told me, 'Don’t mention the bag to the cops',” he adds.

The implication that Lohan was carrying illegal substances is clear as day.

Lohan has been telling friends that the truck driver is lying and he's trying to get money out of her, because she's a famous person.

Officially, she hasn't addressed the allegations in any way, save to have her rep issue a statement about her willingness to cooperate with authorities to establish who was responsible for the crash.

“Lindsay is cooperating fully with law enforcement. She has answered all their questions and provided them with everything they have asked for,” Steve Honig says.
