14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan still has at least another 2 months until she starts her court-ordered 90-day stint in rehab but, according to a new report, she’s trying to get prosecutors to allow her to take her Adderall with her.
Lohan has been diagnosed with ADHD and has been taking the drug for years.
Despite reports that it’s actually what paved the road to addiction for her, Lindsay has been telling friends that she can’t function properly without it, so she wants the judge to see things her way, TMZ reports.
Right now, Lohan has just two options after she lied to police in an ongoing investigation: it’s either rehab or jail. She wants the former – with a huge “but” attached.
“Our sources say Lindsay has taken Adderall – used to treat Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and misused for various other purposes – daily for years. She believes she needs it to function,” TMZ writes.
“We're told Lindsay was steadfast – either attach Adderall to the deal or she'd take her chances at trial. Sources say Lindsay's lawyer, Mark Heller, assured her he could find a lockdown rehab facility that would accommodate her demand,” adds the same media outlet.
Where Heller is wrong, TMZ points out, is his promise that he’ll find a lockdown rehab facility to allow Lindsay in while on Adderall because there is no such thing as “lockdown rehab.”
“It's pretty ironic,” TMZ continues, “when Lindsay was jailed back in 2010, she got a doctor to prescribe Adderall while she was behind bars, even though her ADHD diagnosis was called into serious question.”
Right now, Lindsay is in Brazil on promotional duties, making various appearances for a clothing line. She’s also partying like there’s no tomorrow, if one is to believe ongoing reports.
Several hours ago, she tweeted, “Its official. Pregnant,” in what must surely be a belated April Fool’s Day prank.
