Without a doubt, the particular characteristics of the Japanese market demand the development of certain products that wouldn't stand a chance of success in other parts of the world, and that's exactly the case with the limited-edition PC case you'll read about as follows, namely the P183-MSI from Antec. What makes this limited-edition case different from all the basic Antec case is the fact that it features an MSI “Army” mascot, Aiko-Chan, while also sporting camouflage patterns all over it (apparently, both the manga-like mascot and the camouflage design is hand-painted).

As mentioned earlier, leaving aside the external design, this limited edition P183 brings about very few modifications compared to the basic version, meaning that it still features a dual chamber design that isolates heat and noise, as the power supply resides in a separate chamber.

Moreover, the innovative three-layer, sound-deadening side panels and front door (aluminum, plastic, aluminum) further dampen noise.

The case provides plenty of interior space for adding extra components (11 drive bays - external 4 x 5.25"; 1 x 3.5", internal 6 x 3.5" for HDD and internal 2 x 2.5" SSDdrive bays), as well as very advanced cooling system, formed out 1 rear (standard) 120mm x 25mm TriCool fan, 1 top (standard) 120mm x 25mm TriCool fan, 1 lower front chamber - 120mm fan (optional), 1 upper front chamber - 120mm fan (optional) and 1 middle chamber - 120mm fan (optional).

The case also comes equipped with several front-mounted ports that provide convenient connections, including here 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x eSATA port, Audio In and Out (HDA and AC'97 compatible), while the double hinged door opens up to 270 degrees.

The case is manufactured from 0.8mm cold rolled steel chassis for durability and supports a maximum video card size of 15.5"/394mm and works with Mini-ITX, microATX, Standard ATX motherboards.

The P183-MSI is a very limited edition product (just 100 units have been manufactured) and will sell in Japan for around 24,800 Japanese Yen (24,800 US dollars).
