Sick of media speculation on her personal life, especially at such a trying time as this, singer Lily Allen has taken to her Twitter to put one Daily Mail columnist in her place for spreading rumors about Lily’s marriage.

A short while ago, the Mail ran a story about how Lily, who has lost her child with boyfriend Sam Cooper, was thinking about marrying him to get over the pain of the miscarriage – her second.

Lily has been on Twitter silence since before she was rushed to the hospital and lost her baby, so it’s safe to assume she found out about the story just now. Bottom line: she hated it.

“Katie Nicholl I THINK you’re a [expletive], leave me out of your [expletive] column, you know nothing about the intimate details of my life,” Allen tweeted.

“Theres [sic] a time and a place for your musings where i’m concerned, and it’s not now,” the singer added.

However, she was forced to take back some of the things she said, after Nicholl’s attorneys reportedly contacted her to tell her to take down bits of tweets.

“Kati Nichol [sic] has been in touch and has threatened to consult her lawyer if I don’t take that tweet down. She thinks it was too heavy handed. So I’ll amend it,” Lily writes.

However, she “amends” another part of her rant, just to spite the columnist: the first part, where she asks to be left out of the “[expletive] column” is still online.

And that’s not where the singer stops: because the Mail ran photos of the house she’d just purchased in September, Allen is suing the tab for invasion of privacy and unauthorized use of images, AceShowbiz reports.

“We have today issued proceedings on behalf of Lily Allen against Associated Newspapers (Daily Mail’s parent company) for copyright infringement and breach of confidence. This action is in relation to an article published in the Mail Online on 14 September 2010,” a spokesperson for the singer confirms for the aforementioned media outlet.
