Lian Li only recently detailed its PC-V352 HTPC/desktop case and, now, the company has decided to follow up with a casing meant to “become the most unique HTPC/gaming chassis on the market today.” Essentially, the new product is meant as an aesthetically pleasing enclosure for high-end parts, allowing “unprecedentedly high performance components to be encompassed into the home theater environment without compromising looks or appeal.”

The TYR PC-X2000F is a Full Tower chassis that can accommodate micro-ATX, ATX and Extended ATX motherboards. There are four 5.25-inch ODD bays on either the right side or the left one, as well as seven 3.5-inch HDD mounting racks. What is most intriguing, however, is the way that the enclosure splits the HDD bays between the upper and lower thermal zones, allowing for more efficient cooling. Furthermore, Lian Li even included four USB 3.0 multimedia I/O ports and an eSATA/HD audio one, to make sure that its product could keep up with the times.

When it comes to design, Lian Li doesn't seem to have made any compromises, doing its best to merge style with high-quality craftsmanship. The aluminum-wrought TYR PC-X2000F has an anodized, all-black interior and a tool-less construction. There is also a removable front panel, with a washable nylon dust filter, which covers three silent intake fans (140mm). There is also increased space behind the motherboard tray and a fan control-switch on the back panel.

“The new TYR PC-X2000F is set to build on the line's success and become the most unique HTPC/gaming chassis on the market today. Allowing unprecedentedly high performance components to be encompassed into the home theater environment without compromising looks or appeal, the new TYR PC-X2000F is definitely worthy of the Lian Li label,” the press release states.

The Lian Li TYR PC-X2000F should reach local distributors by the end of the ongoing month. It will only be available in black and will have an MSRP of US$539.
