Leshcat has been busy these days and has now released a second version of the AMD Mobility UnifL Catalyst.

It has the same driver versions as its predecessor, but adds the Radeon HD 8000 series graphics adapters to the supported cards list

Work has been done regarding the Intel Quick Sync issue and it should now be resolved.

As far as users' opinions go, there's not much to talk about since the release is still fresh. Those who managed to update claim that it works very well and that there is no BSOD while installing.

There is, however, a reported screen brightness issue. One user says that when he switches to the AMD GPU, the screen dims so much that he had to use a flashlight to see what happened on the display. The issue does not appear while using the Intel GPU.

Below is the link to the driver. Download, install, but be advised that this release is not perfect.

In case you encounter any issues or you find that it performs better in some way, don't hesitate to come back and leave a comment for others to see.
