The handset should sport high-end features, Prada-inspired texture on the back

South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has been long rumored to plan the release of a new Prada Phone, and the device has just been spotted into the wild in a series of leaked press photos.

The smartphone is expected to become official no later than today, during an event in London, yet we can already have a closer look at it courtesy of the said photos.

The new device should land on shelves with a 4.3-inch NOVA display with WVGA resolution, along with a 1GHz application processor inside, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for 1080p video recording.

The new device also comes with to the market with 21Mbps HSPA+ connectivity, as well as with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0, and with FM radio.

It will also sport a "Prada-inspired" texture on the back, while running under Android Gingerbread, though it should be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sometime next year.
