Motorola DROID RAZR, the thin and powerful Android-based device that made a debut on Verizon’s network last year, is expected to arrive on shelves in a new, blue shade.

The mobile phone was already made available in three different color flavors, namely Black, White and Purple, but it appears that Motorola and Verizon are considering the release of yet another model.

The Blue DROID RAZR was spotted in leaked documents that emerged over at Android Central and is expected to make an official debut as soon as May 17th.

Apparently, the new device will feature exactly the same specifications and capabilities as the models that were launched before it, which means that it will run under the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

Interestingly enough, the blue color on the upcoming DROID RAZR variant resembles a lot the one on Nokia’s Lumia 900 smartphone (and Lumia 800, for that matter).
