Singer LeAnn Rimes is now responding to the comments the wife of her “Northern Lights” co-star Eddie Cibrian made the other day. Accusing her of seeking out Eddie and dragging the affair into the media for the sake of free publicity, as Glanville said she did, is nothing short of defamatory and shameless, a rep for Rimes tells
People magazine.
“These comments are incredibly defamatory.” the publicist says in direct reference to what Glanville was saying the other day about how Rimes was stalking her husband and refusing to see to her own marriage. “While there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.” the publicist further explains for people magazine.
The statement comes on the heels of Brandi
taking the matter to the media again, following speculation that her husband, Eddie, and his co-star LeAnn might have shared more than just a close platonic relationship while filming for “Northern Lights.” Ironically enough, the mother of two took her frustration to the same magazine that actually exposed the so-called affair by making public
a video shot in a restaurant where the two supposed cheaters went to be all by themselves and away from the prying eyes of the cameras.
“LeAnn is a stalker. She refuses to leave us alone – it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.” the former model was saying for
Us Magazine yesterday. In the same interview, Brandi insisted that she was not speaking with the media because she was scorned and wanted revenge, but rather out of a sense of duty, like any other wife in her stead would have done.
“I’m a happy wife fighting for what I have. LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left her self-respect in the gutter and doesn’t care who she hurts to get what she wants. She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom.” Glanville was also saying for the same mag.
