Two days from now, Verizon Wireless customers interested in the purchase of a new LTE-capable tablet PC from their wireless carrier will be able to choose from two new 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 models, the wireless carrier has just confirmed.

On July 28th, the new device will become available for purchase via the wireless carrier's stores around the country, as well as via the company's website.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE will hit the shelves in Metallic Gray or Glossy White, with 16GB and 32GB of internal memory.

The specifications list of this device would be similar to the one available for the WiFi flavor than landed on shelves a while ago, except for the 4G LTE connectivity capabilities.

Based on Google's Android 3.1 Honeycomb platform, the tablet PC comes to the market with a large 10.1-inch HD touchscreen display that can deliver a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution.

Moreover, it sports an NVIDIA Tegra2 dual-core application processor with each core clocked in at 1 GHz, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video recording capabilities, and a 2MP camera on the front, with video chat functionality.

It also comes with support for apps from the Android Market, and with access to services like Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Google Search, Google Maps, Google Movies, and Google Books.

When it comes to pricing, the wireless carrier announced that the 16GB model would go for $529.99, while the 32GB model would be available for $629.99. Both require the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

Verizon also notes that “Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 customers will have the option to choose one of the following mobile broadband data plans:

- $30 monthly access for 2GB monthly allowance - $50 monthly access for 5GB monthly allowance - $80 monthly access for 10GB monthly allowance.

The carrier will also have the 16GB Wi-Fi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet PC for sale, with a price tag of $499.99 attached to it. The Wi-Fi-only model will be released only in Metallic Grey.

“For a limited time, Verizon Wireless customers will get a free $25 Media Hub credit from Samsung with their Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 purchase, good towards TV program purchases,” the carrier continued. Additional info on this can be found here.
