Without a doubt, Korean company LG Electronics is quite keen on taking CES 2011 by storm, as they've already announced plenty of interesting new products that will be showcased on the respective occasion, with many more probably waiting in line, such as the brand-new LW6500 3D TV. As some of you may remember, a couple of days ago, LG Electronics revealed the fact that during the Las Vegas tradeshow they would be showcasing the LZ9700, touted as being the world's largest LED-Backlit 3D TV, but that's not stopping them from bringing some other equally interesting products to the CES venue.

So, as previously mentioned, the company plans to showcase at CES the LW6500 (LED-backlit) LCD TV featuring a Film-type Patterned Retarder panel, which optimizes the separation of images for the left and right eyes and enables 3D viewing through the use of passive 3D glasses.

According to TC Magazine, the device also comes equipped with LG's 3D Light Boost technology which ensures maximum brightness during 3D viewing, and includes TruMotion 200Hz and Smart TV functions, DLNA/WiFi support, 2D to 3D conversion, plus HDMI and USB connectors.

Moreover, it seems that this model should also arrive in stores quite soon after CES 2011, although pricing details have not yet been provided.

After taking a look at LG's new products, but also at some of the other hints for CES, we're pretty sure that the next year's edition will bring about plenty of interesting surprises in the field of 3D display solutions, with a very large number of such products being showcased.

In fact, we'd dare to say that 3D HDTVs will be for CES 2011 what LED TVs were for CES 2010, moving from flagship product status to mainstream level, but we'll have to wait for just a couple more days in order to really see what's what.
