LG G2, the latest Android-based flagship smartphone from South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics, is expected to arrive in the United States in the first half of next month through mobile phone carriers Verizon and AT&T.

No official announcement on the matter has been made as of now, but a recent report from Android Central claims that Verizon is set to make the device available to its customers as soon as September 12.

Furthermore, AT&T should launch the new smartphone only one day later, on September 13, the same report claims.

Officially unveiled earlier this month, the LG G2 arrives on the market with a 5.2-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside, thus being capable of delivering an appealing experience to all users.

At the same time, the handset was made official with 2GB of RAM, as well as with 32GB of internal memory, and a 3000mAh battery for long usage times.

LG has also fitted the mobile phone with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as with a front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The specifications list of LG G2 also includes support for 4G LTE networks, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, NFC capabilities, and built-in GPS receiver.

The new flagship device was announced with Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, as well as with a series of specific features coming from LG itself.

LG G2 also comes on the market with an ultra-thin display bezel, as well as with its volume and power keys placed on the back. According to LG, this innovative design was inspired by the way in which users hold the smartphone in their hands when making a phone call.
