South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics unveiled a few months ago plans to come to the market with a series of new Chocolate mobile phones, among which we already saw the BL40 New Chocolate device, and some even expected it to come to the US market via Verizon Wireless. The carrier was said to soon launch a Chocolate phone, yet it seems that the Chocolate Touch VX8575 will be this handset, and not the elongated BL40.

The LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 was spotted around the web a few times before, and now the guys over at phone Arena have managed to learn the full specifications of the device, and have also reported that it can be already seen in Verizon's system. According to the news site, enthusiasts should expect for this phone to become available for purchase starting with November 5, though the release date is not yet official, and details on its pricing have not emerged either.

What the Chocolate Touch VX8575 should deliver to users includes a 3.0-inch TFT display that boasts a 400 x 240 pixel resolution and support for 262K colors, along with a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with fixed focus, a 3.5mm headset jack, Dolby Mobile, 1GB of internal memory, and a microSDHC memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space.

Other specs of the phone also include MP3 Player and FM Radio Receiver, multitasking capabilities, HTML Browser, support for VCast Video/Music and VZ Navigator, as well as for EVDO Rev 0 connectivity. The LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 is said to measure 4.30 x 2.20 x 0.47 inches and weigh 4.23oz, while shipping to the market with Software Version VX857V04 on board.

According to phone Arena, the handset will be activated only with the Nationwide calling plans, yet there are no details on whether a data plan will be required or not. While no details on the phone's pricing have emerged so far, the news site suggests that one should expect it to cost under $100, which doesn't seem too much for such a device.
