Kobo Wireless eReader Arrives in Hong Kong

The Kobo eBook reader, launched back in late September 2010, is one of the most affordable products of this type available out there, and for this reason, it should come as no surprise that it's making its way into several markets, the latest being the one in Hong Kong. Kobo will be available following a new partnership in Hong Kong with Swindon Book Co., Ltd./Kelly & Walsh, HK’s leading English language bookstore, which will be selling the reader and provide customers access to their eBooks of choice. Speaking of which, it's important to mention that, with the Kobo Wireless eReader, customers can shop and read on the go, choosing from Kobo’s global bookstore which offers more than 2.2 million titles, including today’s hottest new releases and best sellers, and over 1 million engaging free classics. The Kobo reader is priced at just $1,550 HKD (Hong Kong dollars), which translates into roughly 200 US dollars, a lot more than 130 US dollars (the US price).
