14 DAY TRIAL // Singer Kelly Rowland was faced with a female entertainer’s worst nightmare the other night, during a live show at 4sixty6 Lounge in West Orange, NJ. Her top / brassiere rode up, leaving her exposed long enough for audiences to note and photographers to take her picture.
Dressed in a pair of high-waisted, loose pants and a top that was more like a bra with more straps than usual, Kelly kicked off the gig in very high spirits.
At one point during the performance, as she went through the dance routines, her bra rode up and left her exposed, the Daily Mail writes.
It is definitely one of the most severe and embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions of recent months.
“The X Factor judge wore a pair of flattering black trousers that billowed around her and made her legs appear incredibly long. She teamed them with a bondage style ‘top,’ which was merely a black satin bra with a studded barely-there bodice around it,” the Mail writes of Kelly’s stage outfit.
It is not clear at which point she realized she was exposed and readjusted the bra, but what’s clear is that Kelly still had in her to joke about it on Twitter afterwards.
“New Jersey crowd was amazing!! hope you enjoyed the show and didnt mind the peekaboo LOL!!! #kanyeshrug #stuffhappens,” Kelly tweeted after the show, choosing to shrug off the mishap instead of making too much fuss over it.
Another similar incident happened to rapper Nicki Minaj during a performance on Good Morning America for the Summer Concert Series, as we also reported over the weekend.
Then too, energetic dance routines and an uninspired outfit were responsible.
After the show, which was watched by millions of people all over the US, ABC issued an apology for the incident, saying they didn’t know how come the 5-second delay did not make it impossible for it to air on TV.
