Kelly Osbourne is looking downright fabulous these days, having just recently reemerged in the spotlight rocking a newly slimmed body and a much more positive attitude. The television personality only started losing the extra weight she was carrying the moment she started eating more healthily and working out – and clearly not with the help of plastic surgery, as some tabloids suggest.

Writing for her Closer column, Kelly rubbishes ongoing reports that she had a little help from the doctor to become this thin, this fast. First of all, she says, the change people see in her did not happen overnight, she just kept out of the spotlight for a while, which might make some believe she did something drastic. However, to have these reports out there saying she had liposuction and even a gastric bypass is outrageous, Kelly adds, and she doesn’t want more lies on her printed, especially now that she’s finally healthy and happy.

“I’m so angry there are rumors going around that I’ve had fillers in my lips, or liposuction on my legs,” Kelly writes in response to speculation that she got her new body in any other way than through hard work and practicing plenty of restraint. “Someone even said I’ve had a gastric bypass! I have 100 per cent not had any of that. I’ve lost weight from my face, and that’s why it looks different,” she adds.

“I can say with confidence that the only time I’ve been in a plastic surgeon’s office was with my mum [Sharon], and though I wouldn’t rule it out when I’m older, right now I couldn’t even do it if I wanted because of my past addictions – I couldn’t take the medication they put you on. The rumors are ridiculous. They send out the wrong message because I’ve shaped up working hard for months – it wasn’t a quick fix!” the star, visibly upset, goes on to say.

Ever since she agreed to appear on Dancing With the Stars, Kelly started losing weight because of the intense training she had to undergo each day. In time, she also changed her eating habits and started working out even more, discovering the benefits of Pilates – and all this translated into more weight loss. Just recently, for instance, she was saying her little diet secret was having a slice of apple before bedtime because that helped her curb her cravings.
