Former tabloid editor changes her story, says Jon needs to “man up”

Father of eight Jon Gosselin has repeatedly denied that he and former Star editor Kate Major, also known in the media as Kate 2.0, were anything more than just friends. That does not change the fact that they did date, Major says in a new interview for E! Online and cited by OMG Yahoo!, adding that it only goes to show he is a liar and a coward who tried to have two women at the same time and, clearly failed.

Major continued to insist there was more between she and Gosselin even as he was denying every word that was coming out of her mouth. For this, he is nothing but a coward and a liar who needs to “man up” and take full responsibility for what he’s done –because Major has no doubt in her mind that it is all his fault. Furthermore, if need be, she even has irrefutable proof that they dated, and she wouldn’t want to have to use it: but she will if Jon continues to make her look bad, the scorned “ex” says for E!

“We had plans to travel together, to live together, and to be together. He made his decision in the Hamptons. He wanted to be with me. He told me he was going to Massachusetts to break up with her [Hailey Glassman]. I know the truth. He knows the truth. Unfortunately she did not. He tried to two-time both of us. He wasn’t honest with Hailey he needs to man up and tell the truth. I’m not going to be the other woman. In no way did he tell me he was going to go parade with his ex-girlfriend.” Kate Major reveals in the new interview.

Not only did Jon Gosselin convince her that he was, indeed, about to break up with his other girlfriend so that they could be together, but he also got her to quit her job. Kate wasn’t even considering leaving Star magazine, even if she had clearly fallen in love with her subject for the interview, she says, until he told her that she had a conflict of interests, leading her to believe he was about to get more serious with her. Now she’s both out of a job and of a boyfriend, which only makes her angrier – so angry that she simply had to speak out on it.

“I was not the only one who was around when we were romantically involved. We were holed up together. It’s not like we were just sitting there doing an interview.” Major says of the “proof” she has of the romance. “It’s been a nightmare. I did not want to have to do this… I have to speak. I did not want to have to sell him out but when he makes me look like a liar, a fool, and an idiot. I have to speak out. This whole experience has taught me so much. When I had Jon’s support it was hard, now that I don’t it’s even harder.” she adds.
