Japanese carrier KDDI has just added three new Android-based handsets to its portfolio, Casio G’zOne IS11CA, Infobar A01 and REGZA Phone IS11T.

One day after NTT DoCoMo, another Japanese major carrier, announced its Android devices roadmap, KDDI decided to go official with some of its scheduled handsets.

However, it appears that KDDI has yet to announce the smartphone's release dates, as they have been tagged with the 'coming soon in the following months' status.

The first device announced by KDDI, Casio G’zOne IS11CA has been recently introduced in United States as G’zOne Commando via Verizon carrier.

The rugged phone runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and features a 3.6-inch IPS touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The phone received IPX5/8 shockproof and dustproof body certification and is equipped by a 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM8655 processor. It also boasts a superior 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as integrated GPS.

Infobar A01 is the second device announced by the Japanese carrier, and the first in the Infobar series.

The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU and features an unusual sized 3.9-inch touchscreen with 960 x 540 pixels resolution.

It comes with an 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as NFC eWallet and microSDHC card slot for memory expansion.

Manufactured by Toshiba, the REGZA Phone IS11T is the third Android-powered device announced by KDDI.

The phone features a slide-out form factor and comes with a full landscape QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and embeds a single core 1GHz Snapdragon Qualcomm MSN8655 processor.

The phone is delivered with a larger 4-inch touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, a 1Seg TV Tuner, a built-in GPS receiver, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, an 8-megapixel camera and DLNA function.

No details regarding the phones' prices have been disclosed by KDDI.
