It seems that the people over at Raptor Gaming have been pretty busy lately, since they've started December with not one, but two announcements, the LK1 gaming keyboard we've talked about earlier today being joined by the K3 model, that, nevertheless, targets a fairly different customer segment.

So, whereas the LK1 goes for the entry-level segment, the K3 sort of fills in the remaining gap up to the top-range K1 gaming keyboard, practically addressing the needs of a mid-range/lower high-end segment.

The K3 keyboard packs Fast-Mover-Technology, which allows of in-game blocking of individual keys, a feature that might come particularly in handy in certain fast-paced titles, as well as Anti-Ghosting-Technology, allowing users to press up to 6 buttons at the same time without any signal loss.

Moreover, the peripheral sports no less than 17 exchangeable keys, 20 programmable Macro-Keys, 10 Multimedia Hot-Keys and a special surfaced hand-wrist area, which will provide a very good level of support both in fast-paced action titles and in games that require the user's hand to spend more time on the keys, such as MMOs.

According to the manufacturer, this feature set makes the RAPTOR-GAMING K3 a very good keyboard for fast paced FPS, RTS, RPG and MMO gaming, meaning that, practically, gamers will be able to use the K3 for just about any PC game title they might come across.

As mentioned earlier, the K3 keyboard targets a mid-range/high end segment, and for this reason, its pricing is set closer to that of the K1 than that of the LK1.

So, without further ado, we'll mention that the Raptor-Gaming K3 gaming keyboard will be in stores in February 2011 at 79.90 EUR, which means, sadly, that you can sort of forget about getting it this Christmas (you can always go for the 99-Euro K1 model, though, since it's available in stores as we speak).
