Pop star sends bodyguards over because he can’t be bothered

Justin Bieber has seen better days as regards media attention: hours after he allegedly tried to rob a woman by having her phone taken from her hands because she wanted to snap his photo, he is now coming under fire for calling another woman a B-word for the same reason.

He’s been cleared of theft charges after witnesses infirmed the initial story, but he’s still being criticized online for the other incident, which is shown in the video below.

The woman is named Melinda Giel-Murray and she tells TMZ that she happened to be at the Circle K Stables in Burbank, California, when she saw The Biebs pull up with his entourage, to enjoy some time off in the great outdoors, horseback riding.

“Giel-Murray says she whipped out her camera, but Bieber immediately freaked – and in the video you hear him say, ‘that [B-word] over there’ as he points out Melinda to his posse. Giel-Murray claims 4 security goons surrounded her and tried to intimidate her, but she stood her ground, telling them there's no law against taking pictures,” TMZ reports.

The woman says Bieber was acting “very strange and nervous,” which would explain why he was so adamant not to have his picture taken. On his part, Justin took to his Twitter after the incident – and he seems to be saying that he’s being hounded and that people are looking for trouble even when he does nothing wrong.

“My mom raised me to be kind to others. I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn't easy. But we keep trying,” he writes. “I will continue to be the man my mother raised. I love people and I will try to be kind even when things are not fair. Don't believe rumors.”

It’s true that, right now, Justin is in a tight spot, mostly because he’s already done some things to set the media and a large niche of the public against him. It’s also true that, because of it, he’s getting blame for things he didn’t do, like it probably happened with the theft accusation.

However, hounded or not, he did say, referring to the woman, “that [B-word] over there,” and it’s been caught on tape, there is no denying that. If it’s true that his mom raised him to be kind to others, it must also be true that she taught him not to degrade people by using such words. So, since he did it, he could at least own up to it.
