14 DAY TRIAL // Jessica Simpson welcomed her second child this summer but, by the looks of a photo she just posted on her Twitter, she’s almost back to her pre-pregnancy shape already. The photo is, of course, part of her very lucrative endorsement deal with Weight Watchers.
“Couldn't stop smiling on set for my new @weightwatchers campaign today! #happy,” Jessica writes in the caption. She’s clearly lost a lot of weight already and she has every reason to be proud of it.
Jessica is one of the few female celebrities to have been harshly bullied online for gaining weight while pregnant and then struggling to shift the extra pounds after the baby was born.
This happened when she was pregnant with her first child Maxwell, so, to avoid it while carrying Ace, her baby boy, she kept a much lower profile.
It seems that all her hard work has paid off. In a very recent interview, Jessica explained that she didn’t gain as much weight while carrying Ace as she did with Max, but she couldn’t have lost it either way without help from the weight loss program Weight Watchers.
Word online has it Jessica made $3 million (€2.24 million) for the endorsement deal but she barely managed to show off the weight loss after she gave birth to Max that she became pregnant again. There’s even some talk that Weight Watchers put a lot of pressure on her to deliver on her end of the bargain ASAP.
If that’s really the case, she’s doing just that as we speak.
“With Maxwell I didn’t think about the weight I was gaining and the first time I stepped on a scale and looked at the number… I mean that wasn’t a number I had ever even considered… and I was faced with a pretty serious truth. But since I had already done Weight Watchers, I didn’t put on as much weight with Ace and I just know a lot more now,” Jessica said in the aforementioned interview a couple of weeks ago.
