Jessica Simpson has barely announced her pregnancy on Halloween but she's already thinking about what she'll do to lose the weight after the child is born. She's reportedly in talks with Weight Watchers for an endorsement.

And, since this is Jessica Simpson we're talking about, if the deal goes through, it will be for a lot of money.

Us Weekly reports that Simpson is being courted by the famous weight loss company for an endorsement that will make her $4 million (€3.01 million) richer.

The idea for a collaboration is not new, the celebrity mag says. In fact, Jessica was already negotiating it when she learned she was pregnant with her first child, by fiancé Eric Johnson.

“Simpson – engaged to ex-NFL star Eric Johnson – had initially intended to sign with the company to lose weight she had gained over the past few years,” Us writes.

“But then she got pregnant. So this was the perfect compromise,” an insider says for the same publication.

“This” means a contract that stipulates Jess is to shed the pregnancy weight on the program in a given period of time.

“Under the contract, Simpson would have one year to use the point-counting program to 'lose a significant amount of weight,' says the insider,” Us reports.

“She’s then show off her results in ads for the company – much like current spokeswoman Jennifer Hudson. Despite the deal, Simpson isn’t letting her weight gain get her down,” the magazine further says.

In recent weeks, Simpson has been getting a lot of media attention for the pregnancy, but also for the healthy message she's trying to send girls and women all over the world: being skinny is worth nothing if it comes at the high price of your health.

To make her words more convincing, she's using her own example: she didn't give in to pressure and refused to go on a diet when the media called her “fat,” and she's now a happy millionaire designing clothes and accessories for the regular woman.
