Two months after first showing the world a glimpse of her son David, Oscar-winning singer Jennifer Hudson is ready to speak about life as a young mother and, as millions of fans know, there’s no better place to do so than The Oprah Winfrey Show. As AceShowbiz can confirm, the singer was a guest on Oprah on the December 1 episode, where the hot topic was her son David.

Hudson not only brought along pictures of her and David, but she also openly talked about her plans for Christmas, the first she spends with her “new” family made of David and fiancé David Otunga. With this in mind, it’s easy to understand why Jennifer is thinking of making this year’s winter’s holidays a very special event, which will also include spoiling son David to the best of her abilities.

“Jennifer Hudson shared more photos of the nearly four months old infant when appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday, December 1 [sic]. One of the two photos shared during the talk show was that of the mother-son duo, while the other one showed solo Otunga Jr. in what looks like a baby stroller,” AceShowbiz writes of Hudson’s appearance on Oprah.

Speaking of her plans to make this Christmas a holiday the family will never forget, the singer reveled she will know no limits when doing so. “I’m going to go crazy. He’s very aware but he’s so young and it’s his first Christmas, so you have to go all-out. I kind of want to get him his own Santa Claus and just have like a toy store in the house, full of things. It’s my warm-up, though, for the years to come, when he’s older and he can enjoy it,” she added.

As fans know, a year before the birth of David, Jennifer Hudson lived through a heartbreaking personal experience, when her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew were shot to death in her mom’s home. Ever since, the singer, who rose to fame thanks to the ever-popular singing competition American Idol, has been living her life out of the spotlight as much as possible.
