Jennifer Aniston, one of the most mediated celebrities of the moment, says she’d only consider starting a Twitter account in order to be able to keep a close tab on the rumors about her.

Any other woman – unless they’re Angelina Jolie, of course, would have probably lost her mind at the thought of the things written about them in the media. But not Jennifer.

Speaking with E! Online just recently, the actress has revealed that the only way in which she can be lured into keeping a Twitter account is with the promise of doing some form of rumor control.

The actress admits she’s starting to grow tired of having her family constantly calling her on the phone to check whether she’s gotten pregnant or has suddenly decided to tie the knot with some man she hardly knows.

If she were to keep a Twitter account, then she’d probably be able to do some rumor control, by simply tweeting on the stories written on her and denying them.

“I guess I just can’t have that extra burger on the weekend,” Jennifer jokes with E! about the countless rumors about her being pregnant that have made it into the US tabloids.

“I should just get a Twitter account just for rumor control because if I get one more phone call from my Mom going, ‘Jenny, I know you said you’d tell me if you’re pregnant or getting married, but Aunt Jean just called me’,” the actress further says.

Since she’s currently promoting a romantic comedy called “The Switch,” in which she plays a single mother, Aniston also talks with E! about the possibility of ever seeing her with a toddler.

“Of course. You know, as life evolves and as things change. Also, we have so many options and choices these days, which is quite a wonderful thing. Way more than our parents did in the day,” the actress says of motherhood.

As for the kind of mom she’d be, Aniston says she would do her best to be her child’s best friend, while still keeping some rules in place.

“Absolutely not be a pushover... not strict, but boundried,” the former “Friends” star explains.
