14 DAY TRIAL // As more details on Jennifer Aniston’s new man, actor, director and writer Justin Theroux, emerge online, more and more voices are calling her a homewrecker. Admittedly, when she started dating him, he was still in a relationship with Heidi Bivens, his girlfriend of 14 years.
These reports actually go a long way back, but the most recent comes to confirm that, indeed, until not long ago (even after Jennifer and Justin made their first public appearance together), Heidi had no idea her relationship was over.
PageSix claims to have it on very good authority that Theroux cheated on Heidi with Jennifer. Even more, when she confronted him, he lied about it, saying they were just good friends.
The two actors, who are now an item, met on the set of “Wanderlust.”
“Sources tell us Hollywood costume designer Bivens ‘is devastated’ after Theroux abruptly ended their relationship as he got close to Aniston,” the e-zine writes.
What’s worse, she didn’t find out until everything had already transpired in the press, which is probably what hurt her the most, word has it.
“Heidi is heartbroken. She was completely blindsided. She and Justin had been together for years, they had a home. Then he met Jennifer and everything changed. At first he claimed he and Jen were friends,” a source close to Heidi says for the publication.
PageSix tried to contact Heidi for comment on the scandal but her rep would only confirm she was no longer dating Theroux – and that she’d moved out of the house they shared just recently.
“Heidi and Justin have been together for 14 years. They met when she was 20 years old and he 24, and yes, she just moved out of their home last weekend. She has no comment,” her publicist says for the same media outlet.
To explain the fuss about Theroux’s cheating on his girlfriend with Jennifer Aniston, one mustn’t look any further than a few years ago, when she was in Heidi’s shoes: the media roared with reports of a romance between her husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, reports that turned out to be true and led to the demise of her marriage.
