JAJAH, a leading IP telecommunications company, announced new solutions for Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian. The new services are meant to offer VoIP calls via WiFi or over the cellular network and come as white label solutions so that carriers and non-carriers would be able to release the service under their own brand.

JAJAH's newly announced platform has all that a company would need to launch the service in no time, including the application itself and management services such as termination of the calls and quality control. The plug-and-play IP platform can offer a complete pack of services required to develop, deploy and monetize IP communication services. Large industry players like Intel, Yahoo! and Comcast already use the platform, which enables companies to deliver value-added-services (VAS) to customers without the need of development work.

“Every carrier faces pressure to develop new services to keep hold of their subscriber base. JAJAH gives carriers the ability to roll out these proven, simple to use services no matter which device their customers have, with almost zero time to market or development cost,” said Trevor Healy, CEO, JAJAH.

All BlackBerry users are able to make JAJAH VoIP calls straight from their devices through the JAJAH application for BlackBerry. The app adds 'JAJAH Call' to the phonebook menu and is available as an over the air download, as well as via the desktop manager. Users will only have to select a contact name and select 'JAJAH Call'. At the same time, they will also be able to type the phone number into the application to initialize the call.

Users that own a Symbian s60-powered device will also be able to make calls over the JAJAH IP network. The application is able to detect any WiFi networks and offer users the possibility to make a long-distance phone call (either manually or through the address book) via JAJAH.

The JAJAH for Windows Mobile comes as a full SIP over HSDPA/WiFi mobile VoIP solution. It is deployed by eMobile, a leading operator in Japan, and is able to transform any handset into a fully functioning VoIP phone, delivering high-quality phone-in and phone-out services anywhere in the world.

Prior to this announcement, JAJAH also released a solution meant to turn the iPod touch into a fully functional cell phone. The company managed to develop solutions for around 500 million mobile phones and smartphones, as well as for mobile devices all around the world. JAJAH is a pioneer in high-quality, low-cost phone calls from any handset. The company has come up with applications for the iPhone and PlayStation portable for the first time in the world. At the same time, it also allowed other companies to launch services under their own brand names.

JAJAH also stated that in the following months it planned to announce a range of new data communication services, applications and partnerships.
