When you can't have the real thing, settle for cracked versions

Apple has announced the date when their iPhone will become available on worldwide markets. The information shows that Israeli people are not on the list, which makes a good enough reason for trying to crack it.

The touchscreen performance has been considered the ultimate revolutionary feature coming from the iPhone. Other mobile phone producers have struggled to bring a "killer" for this handset, with little success. Because of this, Israeli hackers have turned to the real thing and tried to create a copy of its interface.

A large number of hackers worldwide have declared that they are working on ways to make it possible to activate the iPhone without an AT&T card. This has been made possible, although the handset is not fully functional and shows no real advantage for the general use.

Moreover, a series of bugs have been noticed for Apple's phone. The company has used these notifications in order to start work on finding solutions and providing an improved device to its users.

The greatest problem that Israeli hackers see is the probability that the iPhone will not hit their market any time soon. For this to happen, Apple should make considerable investments here in order to properly relate to people, but that is highly unlikely. Because of this, they are now struggling to get the real thing and test it in order to eventually manage to crack it.

The fact that its interface has already been copied for being put on a mobile phone coming from a different producer is being considered by the Israeli hackers one step further towards completely cracking the iPhone. Moreover, because of these efforts, they will at least be able to benefit from the handset's evolved graphical interface, while the real thing stays out of reach.
