From time to time, we happen to come across certain gadgets that simply leave us wondering just what their manufacturers were thinking when coming up with either their design, name or features, and that's pretty much the case with the device you'll read about as follows, namely the Iron Geisha LED Watch, available on Chinavision. Leaving aside the rather unusual name, as well as the clear inspiration from the Japanese culture, the Iron Geisha LED Watch also offers a rather unusual way of telling the time, based on the top and bottom row LED lights.

So, the top row will provide the hours display, while the bottom one will deliver the minutes display, while users will have to actually press the top button in order to get the time at any given moment.

A combo of pressing the top and bottom buttons will adjust the time and/or date.

The Iron Geisha watch sports a metallic band with fold over lock clasp, and is powered by one CR2016 battery, although there no info on just how long this battery will last has been provided.

However, the manufacturer does inform us that the watch is not waterproof, which means that taking it for a swim might prove to be a fairly bad idea, all things considered.

Moving on to the price point, we'll have to say that the Iron Geisha LED Watch is actually a lot more affordable than just about all of the similar products available from TokyoFlash and some of the other Japanese LED Watch outlets.

So, without further ado, we'll say that this thing sells for a mere 4.71 Euro, a sum that leaves us asking some pretty serious questions about the overall build quality we should expect from this thing (and the answer doesn't really seem to be a positive one).
