Introducing Ubuntu Bliss Lens for Unity

The Ubuntu Bliss Lens is a simple replacement of the default Application Lens found in Ubuntu, allowing users only to search their installed apps.

To install the Unity Bliss Lens plugin in your Ubuntu operating system, download the source code from here, extract it, open a terminal window (hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination) and paste the following commands (one by one, hitting Enter after each one):

cd ~/Desktop/unity-lens-bliss-0.1.3
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc && make && sudo make install

Enter your password when asked. You will also need to restart your session after the installation. Be aware that it ONLY works on Ubuntu 11.10 and 11.04.
