Wireless carrier Verizon is expected to come to the market with a new version of the highly appealing DROID Incredible by HTC, the so called Incredible HD, and some more info on the upcoming device just emerged.

We've already heard some rumors on the new DROID Incredible HD from Verizon Wireless, but nothing solid on the matter emerged until now.

The upcoming device should land on shelves with Google's Android operating system on board, though no info on the exact version of the platform emerged.

Moreover, it appears that Verizon would bring the phone to the market with support for its new LTE network, at least this is what the latest rumors on the matter suggest.

A recent article on Droid-Life refers to a tweet coming from a Verizon LTE engineer who seems to have had the chance to see the said smartphone into the wild.

“Just saw something so incredible that it was almost HD… and LiTE as a feather…,” the said tweet reads.

Moreover, it appears that the engineer confirmed the existence of this device, and that he even suggested that we should see a series of leaked photos with the mobile phone in the near future.

“@droid_life bgr posted a pic of the old hardware months ago.. it's been refined a bit. Sure u all will get a leak. Love the site btw,” another tweet reads. The engineer was referring to the photo we attached to this article.

It appears that we should expect for the DROID Incredible HD to be somehow similar with both the original device, as well as with the newly released Desire HD, but nothing is certain in this area for the time being.

While there's no telling when exactly Big Red would plan on making the new Android-based smartphone available for purchase, we should expect for it to be announced officially in the not too far future. Keep an eye on this space for additional info on the matter.
