IGN Entertainment and Verizon Wireless, recently announced the availability of the IGN Mobile Video channel on Verizon Wireless' V CAST service. The channel will be updated daily with video content from IGN.com's leading collection of videogame, entertainment and lifestyle features, offering Verizon Wireless V CAST customers approximately 50 segments per week.

On the IGN Mobile Video channel, video segments will range from two to eight minutes in length and cover a broad range of topics, including videogame reviews; game and movie trailers; celebrity interviews; and game gear. Much of the V CAST channel's content will be derived from the IGN Web site's IGN Video offering, which includes the popular "IGN Weekly" video show - a weekly summary of what's new and hot in gaming and entertainment. The V CAST channel is specially formatted for high-quality viewing on mobile devices.

The agreement with Verizon Wireless' V CAST marks the third platform on which consumers can access IGN Mobile Video. The agreement also builds upon Fox Interactive Media's existing relationship with Verizon Wireless, which currently includes the availability of stats, scores and video content from FOXSports.com on V CAST.

To get V CAST, customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription. The IGN Mobile Video channel is located within the Entertainment category on V CAST. Customers get unlimited basic video, including IGN Mobile Video, but application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content.
