Hyundai Mobile UK has recently confirmed that its MB-910 mobile watch phone is expected to become available in the country in the late second quarter of the ongoing year. Said device is reported to weigh only 58g, while being able to provide up to three hours of talk time, as well as about 70 hours of standby time.

The new MB-910 watch-shaped mobile phone also includes Bluetooth headsets in the package, so as to allow users to talk using the hands-free, but it enables them to talk directly at the phone as well. The device has been designed to offer tri-band connectivity support, and is also stated to be an internationally working handset.

Roland Prinz, director for Hyundai Mobile UK, says that “The Hyundai Mobile brand is about the latest cutting edge technology at a price point which is accessible to the masses. Already a hit in Europe, we have high hopes for the MB-910’s entry to the UK market. We are delighted to confirm that we intend to make the MB-910 available in the UK and we will announce our specific plans shortly.”

What the company plans to achieve with the launch of this watch-phone is to be able to provide high-level technology to consumers who are also interested in the price of the handset they acquire. The new MB-910, says Hyundai Mobile UK, should retail with a price tag of £200 while being sold SIM free.

Among the features of the device we can count tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz connectivity, TFT Touch display, able to deliver a 132 x 176 pixel resolution and 65k colors, GPRS Class 12, WAP 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, USB Data Cable, MMS and SMS messaging capabilities, and a 400 mAh battery. The MB-910 comes in Silver, measures 58 x 44 x 16 mm and weighs 58g, battery included.
