A funny GamesRadar initiative

In case you haven't heard, there's some serious competition for the Jackass title we could play on all major platforms this Fall. It's called Pain and you might know it as one of Sony's latest PSN games, that allows you to slingshot folks around in a carnival shooting gallery. You'll use a catapult and a man to bring some PAIN into play, but GamesRadar have just added a neat twist to the entire experience. They've come up with the image on the left side of this article after some "tweaking" done to a building by smashing a couple of letters.

The sign that once probably said "Hotel...something" now says "Hot oral sex"... This is what too much spare time can do to an editor who loves original games and gags. Here's what GamesRadar informs us about Pain:

" The concept of Pain is simple: as a complete idiot with no sense of self-preservation, it's your job to launch yourself out of a giant damn ballista and destroy as many things as possible, including yourself. Points are awarded depending on how many things you can smash your body into, and if you can start a chain reaction by slamming feet-first into explosives or grabbing and hurling bystanders into the mostly wreckable environment. Extra points if you get run over by cars, especially if those cars then flip over and go flying into buildings. The dynamic environment, ability to change your pose mid-flight and a bunch of competitive game modes should keep this from getting stale."

This reminds of the ragdoll minigames included in games pertaining to the Flatout series, all of them involving the constant tormenting of the man-sized puppet you placed behind the wheel. When will the torture of in-game characters end? They've been shot, crushed, decapitated, manhunted, burnt and sliced...but at least they've "Hot oral sex" signs posted on their buildings.
