Kelly Brook appears to have lost some weight on a recent appearance on the red carpet

Kelly Brook is one of the few women in showbiz who takes real pride in her curves and who vouched, more than once, never to succumb to pressure to be thinner – but she may already be doing just that.

The glamour model is now traveling the world, promoting her latest film and landing new modeling jobs – and the pressure seems to be taking a toll on her figure.

Brook, who has literally build her entire career on her body and her trademark curves, is looking thinner than ever and the Daily Mail can’t seem to decide whether it’s a trick her dress is playing on the eyes or she’s losing weight.

Just recently, the star walked the red carpet in a metallic corset dress which made her waist look incredibly thin, thinner than ever before.

So, either the dress is creating the impression that she’s thinner than she is, or she’s shedding the pounds because of her busy schedule and, undoubtedly, pressure from the industry.

“It seems that living in Hollywood may be putting her famous assets at risk. The model appeared to be succumbing to the tiny Hollywood ideal at a party in the US last night, where she showed off what looked like a much tinier waistline,” the Mail writes.

Photos taken at the event seem to confirm that, indeed, Kelly is slimmer than before, which would make the Mail’s assertion that she’s giving in to pressure accurate.

Still, there’s also the question of the dress, which could create only the impression that she’s slimmer, thanks to the corset and the combination of different colors.

“Although it could have been her fantastic metallic, multi-tone corset-style dress taking the inches off, which she accessorized with a clutch bag and Mary Jane shoes,” even the Mail admits.

In all fairness, it would be very unlike Kelly to finally succumb to pressure and start losing weight to become unnaturally thin, especially when she repeatedly said she was awfully proud with what she had.

“You need to make what you’re blessed with work for you. It’s so important to learn to love yourself. I look after my body. I like to go for a run, to get my blood pumping,” Kelly was saying in an older interview, as we also reported at the time.

“I like cycling and Pilates, too. And you won’t see me falling out of nightclubs in a sorry state. When you are in the spotlight, you can’t get really drunk or make a fool of yourself, but then, I don’t feel the need to be the centre of attention. I get enough of that anyway,” she added.
