They 'forgot' to mention that certain territories won't have a PS Store, so what would you expect?

As if we wouldn't expect something like this from the company making the PS3. Why?, you ask. Well, just in case you haven't heard - I swear this piece of news must have hit every gaming site there is - Sony launched the PS3 in Europe and Australia (both PAL Territories) without mentioning that some countries... no sorry, a lot of countries won't be able to benefit from the PlayStation Store service used to download demo or even full games that are generally for free. What do you know? They messed up the official launch dates posted on the official UK PlayStation site, regarding two games launching for the PS3: Heavenly Sword and Lair.

If Sony had messed up Heavenly Sword's date alone, that wouldn't have been so bad (it still would have made good news though, something to throw at Sony right?) but Lair is probably the most ambitious PS3 title so far, as Eurogamer reckons, so how could this happen? Maybe it needs more work. Not the game you sissy, the release process. Anyway, this is what a Sony spokesman stated today: "Both those dates are wrong. We haven't got any release dates for those at the moment; they're just penciled in for 2007."

Lair, just so everyone's on the same level here, is an action, flight, and combat game in which players back ride a dragon to fight both in air and land, using the SIXAXIS controller's tilt functions for control during gameplay. In a world ravished by global warming, the Mokai steal from the Asylians whose lands are prosper and fertile. Well, more fertile than the Mokai's anyway.

OK, np Sony, anyone can make a mistake but, why are the wrong dates still there? It's not like the page has to go through some sort of developing process like Lair or Heavenly sword. So the two games are due for 2007, which is everything from tomorrow to New Year's Eve. Well, not tomorrow.
