The mobile game will receive a new level, with 5 missions included inside

An updated flavor of Microsoft’s Halo: Spartan Assault mobile game is expected to arrive on devices running under Windows Phone 8 operating system later this week, offering support for entry-level devices, which feature only 512MB of RAM.

According to the latest reports on the matter, the Redmond-based software giant is getting ready for the launch of an update for the game on August 29, expanding its availability to more handsets out there, as WMPoweruser notes.

Furthermore, the update is said to bring along a new level, Operation Hydra, with 5 new missions packed inside, providing users with access to new locations and achievements.

Through the five new achievements, users will be offered the possibility to grab a total of 50 points to add to their Gamerscore, a recent post on Halo Waypoint reads. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
