343 Industries, the developer of the upcoming Halo 4 shooter, has warned fans of the popular series to avoid any ads or pages that promise them access into the Halo 4 beta stage, as they’re completely fake.

The Halo franchise is the most popular series on the Xbox 360, so you can bet that millions of fans are eagerly awaiting any tidbit of information from 343 Industries, the studio behind the new Halo 4 game.

Sadly, it seems that some nefarious individuals have decided to take advantage of this enthusiasm and have created webpages that guarantee access into a Halo 4 beta stage, even if nothing like this has ever been announced by the development team.

Now, 343 Industries’ David Ellis posted a special warning on his Twitter account, warning fans to not fall prey to any Halo 4 Beta scams.

"If you see a page claiming to allow you to sign up for a Halo 4 beta be advised, IT'S A FAKE," Ellis warned.

Halo 4 is currently scheduled to appear at the end of the year, so expect more details about it and its possible beta stage until then.
