We have previously reported that Intel has started pushing its chips at white-box tablet manufacturers in China. The chip giant is offering its latest Bay Trail platform to no-name brands in Asia, seemingly in an attempt to maximize profits.

We also brought you news of a Chinese tablet created by Ramos which is expected to embed the Bay Trail architecture. But now another slate has surfaced.

This one is created by Haier and has been dubbed the W1048 Lynx, reports Chinese PadNews. It comes sporting a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, draws power form an Intel Atom Z3740D Bay Trail processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs Windows 8 out of the box.

Haier also offers 64GB of internal storage, HDMI out, USB, Wi-Fi and a 2MP frontal snapper with the bundle.

On top of that, customers are awarded a detachable keyboard too, with the whole package costing $400 / €290, which is quite a lot. The tablet can be pre-ordered now in China, but there’s no word whether we will see it in the West.
