And most importantly, increased memory size

This time, it's not only about colors, as the latest version of HTC Touch will also come with some performance improvements. The enhanced smartphone has recently seen its official release in Hong Kong and should soon be available at a wider level.

Finally, one handset producer goes to the trouble of bringing improvements to a mobile phone's capabilities and not only on its looks. The enhanced HTC Touch version will come with a memory size increased to 256MB of ROM and 128 MB of RAM. That's quite an advantage, although it's bad news to HTC that there is a high number of other devices out there capable of similar or even higher performances than these ones.

Another downside that the producer looked to resolve with this upgrade is that of the internal data storage space, although the difference is little or even invisible when compared to the older version. The most obvious change is that of the phone's design. The Elegant Black and Wasabi Green colors have been traded for the Immaculate White and Burgandy Red ones, featuring some highly stylish new apparels and a slight shine instead of the previous design which lacked it.

The enhanced version will feature the same TouchFLO interface as until now. Many people found it difficult to use, especially at a first try, although HTC has been proud enough of it as to plan on packing it on all future smartphone releases.

HTC has managed to sell a total of 800,000 Touch handsets only in the first three months since its release. After reaching this peak point, the company started to bring out a wide variety of new colors in order to make it look fresh again. The greatest improvement they made up to this point is that of improving its memory, as the device was in great need of such an action.
