One on Vodafone, the other in Brazil

Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation still has a few surprises for its users it seems. One of them would be the HTC Tattoo, which is about to get launched on Vodafone's airwaves with Donut on board, as well as with built-in FM Radio. The other one goes to mobile phone users in Brazil, who are to get a lot of HTC Sense with the launch of HTC Magic in the country.

The fact that Tattoo will come to Vodafone with Donut would make a lot of sense, given the fact that the handset is expected to become available in October, and the Android Development team already announced that Android 1.6 (Donut) would surface on handsets starting with the next month. What is interesting here is that Vodafone's subscribers are those who will see the Tattoo and will also taste the Donut first.

Some might envy them indeed, though both the device and the new Android flavor will make their way to more markets, and to more devices, when it comes to the operating system. In the meantime, some of you might start envying mobile phone users in Brazil as well, given the fact that the HTC Magic, the second Android-powered device from the maker, comes to their country with Sense on board.

This doesn't come too much as a surprise either, since HTC already announced that its mobile phones that ran under Google's Android platform would all receive Sense (the HTC Hero had it since it was born, you might already know that). According to phandroid, which broke the news both on Tattoo and Magic, the HTC Sense might also make an appearance on Dream, the first Android phone ever.

For the time being, however, it is not clear whether Sense will be applied to HTC's devices that do not bear the “with Google” logo on them, or whether it will arrive on all of its Android handsets. Hopefully, it will be present on the entire range, and owners of a T-Mobile G1 or myTouch 3G will also enjoy its goodies.
