Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been long rumored to plan the launch of a new, highly appealing handset, the HTC Pyramid, and some more info on the device emerged, along with more photos of it.

We already had the chance to take a look at this handset, as well as at some of the hardware specs it would arrive on shelves with.

However, now we can have a look at the full specs of the new device, as well as at some photos with it turned on, which were not available before.

Leaked over at XDA-Developers (via BGR) the smartphone is expected to become HTC's next flagship device, though specific info on when it would land on shelves did not emerge for the time being.

Just as previously rumored, the handset arrives on the market with a 1.2GHz application processor inside, while sporting a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a qHD 960 x 540 pixel resolution.

The mobile phone would also include 768MB of RAM, as well as an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of 1080p video capture, complemented by a VGA front-facing camera.

Overall, the new HTC Pyramid seems similar with the newly released HTC EVO 3D, but there still are some features that it does not include, such as the 3D capable display.

Moreover, the new mobile phone is said to be running under Google's latest Android flavor, namely Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, with the HTC Sense 3.0 UI loaded on top of it.

Apparently, the new handset would indeed include all of the high-end features that any enthusiast would be looking for in a new device.

However, it remains to be seen what performance levels the new device would deliver, since some of the previous rumors on it suggested that it might actually deliver less speed and power than already available handsets.
