A green technology business-to-business news company going by the name of Greentech Media has just released its very own iPhone app, which allows users to take news and research from the fast-paced green and clean technology world with them, the company said today.

Available for free download in the iTunes App store, the Greentech Media app allows users access to Greentech Media’s daily content and previews of market research reports from GTM Research, the integrated online media company said.

Interaction with the app is done by sharing content on Twitter and Facebook, or by emailing articles to friends.

Users can also post and respond to comments directly through the app, Greentech Media claims.

The official report posted by Greentech Media reveals that the company is best known for its industry leading website design, as it was designated a Webby Awards Official Honoree in 2010.

“A fully-integrated iPhone app was the obvious progression,” said Rick Thompson, the President and one of the co-founders of Greentech Media. “The app is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and is functional on the iPad.”

“With the rapid growth of the greentech market, including groundbreaking technology advancements in solar, smart grid, and energy efficiency markets, the Greentech Media app will allow professionals to stay on top of these markets wherever they go,” Greentech Media management added.

As noted above, the Greentech Media's iPhone app allows users to stay up to date with the latest news and research from the world of green and clean technology.

Feature highlights of the Greentech Media iOS app include:

- Read all of the latest news from the Greentech Media homepage - Organize content by subject interest - Find our latest research reports - Share articles with your friends on Facebook and Twitter - Email articles to your contacts - Comment on the articles through the app.
